Education must maximize the benefits of Information and Communication Technology. This is the principle that inspires the management of the Bansalan West District thru the leadership of its District Supervisor, Mr. Julito N. Tamula, to apply for internet connection. The district now holds the record of being the first to have an internet connection among others.
Mr. Jose F. Cadungog, Jr, the Alternative Learning System (ALS) coordinator, is anticipating that Information and Communication Technology will be of great help to the implementation of the ALS. Thru the use of the internet, ALS can further provide a viable alternative to the existing formal education instruction. It encompasses both non-formal and informal sources of knowledge and skills.
